Adv. Dr. Anjali Kanitkar explained the history of University WDC and its formation. She also guided the teachers present regarding the role of WDC and ICC with case studies.
Adv. Veena Gowda talked about sexual harassment movement and Law. She also threw a light on Article Fifteen with Bhawanridevi case study.
Mr. Harish Sadani made a power point presentation on features of POSH Act, Redressal Mechanism, formation of WDC and ICC at college level and case studies.
Dr. Geeta Chaddha explained the role, scope and functioning of WDC and ICC at college level.
The above talks were followed by a workshop by Dr. Meher Bhoot on POSH Act and University Ordinance to that effect. All participants were divided in groups of 10 each and given assignment on Interpretation of Terminology and Definitions under the same. The participant were very enthusiastic and active throughout the workshop.
