The Faculty Exchange Programme was an online programme where MVM college shared their Microsoft Teams link with MNDC teachers and the MNDC Teachers shared their Zoom link with the MVM teachers to conduct online sessions as per timetable.

Online lectures were conducted by both colleges to teach the student cohort of each-other’s colleges.

The FEP coordinators interacted and prepared the time table after consultation with subject teachers. The Faculty Exchange Timetable was prepared and shared among both colleges. Telephone numbers and email IDs of subject teachers were shared.

It was decided that each college should record the sessions taken, click photographs, take attendance and also prepare a feedback form for every session.

  • Asst. Prof. Manojkumar Shah conducted a Cost Accounting lecture from 7.00 p.m. to 7.50 p.m. on Zoom platform for the T.Y.B.Com. students of Mahatma Night Degree College, Chembur, Mumbai
  • Topic: Revision of important concepts in syllabus
  • Attendance: 52 students attended the lecture
  • T.Y.B.Com. students assembled in Room No. 301 with their mobile phones and headsets to attend the online session scheduled. The Zoom link created by Asst. Prof. Dr. Anaya Markandeya was shared with Asst. Prof. Manojkumar Shah at 6.00 p.m. on 7th November, 2022 and with the T.Y.B.Com. students of Mahatma Night Degree College of Arts and Commerce, Chembur at 6.50 p.m. The Faculty Exchange Programme Coordinator Assoc.   • Topic: An overview of Financial Accounting and Auditing
  • Attendance: 43 students attended the lecture and 21 students filled the feedback form
  • T.Y.B.Com. students assembled in Room No. 301 with their mobile phones and headsets to attend the online session scheduled. The Faculty Exchange Programme Coordinator Assoc.   • Asst. Prof. Manoj kumar Shah conducted a Cost Accounting lecture from 7.00 p.m. to 7.50 p.m. on Zoom platform for the T.Y.B.Com. students of Mahatma Night Degree College, Chembur, Mumbai.
  • Topic: Marginal Costing
  • Attendance: 58 students attended the lecture and 37 students filled the feedback form.
  • T.Y.B.Com. students assembled in Room No. 401 with their mobile phones and headsets to attend the online session scheduled. Material (2 documents containing Marginal Costing formulae and another with questions) required for the lectures was shared by the teacher on the previous day itself. It was shared with the students in the morning of the day of the session The Zoom link created by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lata Krishnan was shared with Asst. Prof. Manojkumar Shah at 10.00 a.m. on 11th April, 2022 and with the T.Y.B.Com. students of Mahatma Night Degree College of Arts and Commerce, Chembur at 6.50 p.m. The Faculty Exchange Programme Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lata Krishnan welcomed the teacher Asst. Prof. Manojkumar Shah, after which she flagged off the session. The session was interactive and students were taught in English and Hindi. The session was lively and interesting. As all the formulae pertaining to the syllabus in the topic Marginal Costing were revised, students found the session very useful. Further Asst. Prof. Manojkumar Shah solved problems applying the formulae and guided students how to arrive at the answer. The questions taken were of low, medium and high difficulty levels. Students learned how to attempt practical MCQ. This was very useful from an exam point of view.
  • The students were engrossed in learning from Asst. Prof. Manojkumar Shah so much so that they were not disturbed when the electricity went off for the last 20 minutes of the lecture. The class continued till 8.00 p.m. in students’ mobile torch light. This was a fascinating sight and speaks volumes on the teaching-learning effectiveness achieved in the lecture.
