Techno Serve India’s Meeting with Colleges

On 27th February, 2019 at 10.00 a.m. Mahatma Night Degree College attended a meeting in Hotel Peninsula Redpine, Airport Road, Metro Station, Mumbai organized for stakeholders connected with Techno Serve India Pvt. Ltd. This is an NGO engaged in conducting training programmes to college students making them career ready by imparting soft skills, decision making skills, resume writing skills and functioning as a finishing school. They organize mock interviews and help students embark on careers of their choice. The tag line of the company is “Business solutions to poverty.”

The main objective of the meeting was to take a feedback from the colleges engaged with Techno Serve India Pvt. Ltd., programmes and to take necessary corrective action with regards to further improvement of the training programmes.

A total of 49 colleges, affiliated to University of Mumbai and SNDT college were invited for the meeting. First on the agenda of the meeting was to take a feedback from colleges of Techno Serve’s training and placement activity in the previous year and current year. Almost all the colleges gave a positive feedback regarding the training programmes.

The Techno Serve India Pvt. Ltd. invited the HR Managers of companies with whom they have a tie up with for placement activities. Representatives of six companies attached with Techno Serve India Pvt. Ltd., made their presentations and were available for discussion post lunch. These representatives explained why they have more opportunities for Sales and Marketing positions. They also pointed out that they have many vacancies for back and front office jobs. The meeting was a good platform to assess the progress of the training programme and assess the placement opportunities offered to the students through Techno Serve India Pvt. Ltd.

Techno serve promised the colleges that they will do their best and give good training and good placement opportunities to the students in the future.
