Mahatma Night Degree College of Arts and Commerce has always strived hard to bring back the economically deprived class of students into the mainstream education. Dr. Eknath Zhrekar I/C Principal of Mahatma Night Degree College instructed to organise a program to felicitate the academic toppers from each semester to motivate them and the other college students to study hard. The felicitation program was organised for the academic toppers of Degree and the Junior college students on 27th August, 2022. Students were asked to come with their parent to attend the program. Dr. Prithviraj Desai was the chief guest for the program. The program started at 7:15 p.m. Principal Dr. Ekanth Zhrekar delivered the welcome the address. Dr. Anaya Markdeya introduced the Chief Guest and requested him to address the students. Dr. Prithviraj Desai shared his words of wisdom with the students and motivated them that they can achieve any goal in their life in spite of all the odds faced by them. Thereafter the felicitation program for the junior college students started and it was followed by the felicitation of academic toppers of degree college. Students collected the cash prize and certificate along with their parents. It was proud moment for the parents that their children were rewarded for their hard work. Dr. Lata Krishnan proposed a formal vote of thanks for the program. The snacks were distributed after the program.
