Course Offered

The college conducts a three-year integrated Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree course of the University of Mumbai.

All the subjects given below are compulsory for the students of this college. They cannot offer any other subject in the special group or applied component group. All subjects carry 100 marks.

Examination Scheme for F.Y.B.Com. and S.Y.B.Com.

There shall be two examinations, one at the end of each term and they shall be called First Term Examination and Second Term Examination respectively. Both Term Examinations shall be of equal marks and of equal duration. The First Term Examination shall be based on the portion of the syllabus taught in First Term and Second Term examination shall be based on the portion of the syllabus taught in the Second Term as prescribed by the Board of Studies and approved by the Academic Council. Each Term Examination shall be of 50 marks and 2 hours duration. Passing in the subject shall be based on the aggregate of marks of the First and Second Term Examinations taken together. In order to pass in a subject a student must secure a minimum of 35% marks.

Examination Scheme for T.Y.B.Com.

Annual Examination of T.Y.B.Com. is conducted by the University of Mumbai. The examination shall be based on the entire portion of the syllabus taught in First and Second Term together. The examination of each subject shall be of 100 marks and 3 hours duration. In order to pass in a subject a student must secure a minimum of 35% marks.

Benefit of 10 Grace Marks
Students joining NSS or NCC or representing University of Mumbai in sports become eligible to get the benefit of 10 grace marks at F.Y. B.Com. / S.Y. B.Com. / T.Y. B.Com. examination under 0.229A and 0.229B.

A.T.K.T. Rule
A student who has failed in maximum two subjects of 100 marks each (irrespective of whether the number of subjects is 6 or 7) is Allowed to Keep Terms (ATKT) of the higher class.

Practice Tests
In order to ensure regular study by the students and to prepare them for the Term Tests/ Annual Examination, college shall conduct practice tests for F.Y., S.Y. and T.Y. B.Com. classes. Also class tests shall be conducted by the teachers regularly, during their periods for the T.Y. B.Com. class.
