Webinar on “Spreading Awareness about Eco-Friendly Ganapati Festival”

NSS unit and Department of Environmental Studies of Mahatma Night Degree College has arranged Webinar on “Spreading Awareness about Eco-Friendly Ganapati Festival” on 9th September, 2021 at 7.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. on Zoom platform. Asst. Prof. Tushar Pawar started webinar with Keynote address, where he explained about available of eco-friendly activity and why it is required to adopt eco-friendly cultute. After keynote address Asst. Prof. Tushar Pawar invited I/C Principal Dr. Eknath Zhrekar to welcome the gathering. Principal Zhrekar has welcomed resource person Mr. Tushar Gosavi and all the participants. In his welcome address he also spoked about the importance of Eco-friendly Ganapati idol and it also help to keep beauty of nature. He has also mentioned that why there is need to conduct such webinars and seminars on Eco-friendly culture.

After the welcome address Asst. Prof. Tushar Pawar introduced resource person Mr. Tushar Gosavi and requested him to start the session

Mr. Gosavi started his session by demonstrating video on how they make eco-friendly Ganapati idols. He also explains why we need to about this practice and encourage people in society take such idol for Ganapati pooja so that we can disturbed our natural aquatic ecosystem. He also shown some eco friendly Ganapati idols and windup his session with very interesting thought. Asst. Prof. proposed vote of thanks and assure resource person that our students will spread the awareness about ecofriendly celebration of Ganapati festival.
