An Awareness Session on “Organ Donation” was organised by NSS unit of Mahatma Night Degree College of Arts and Commerce on ZOOM platform. Mr. Shrikant Apte Sir alias Apte Kaka, founder of V4organs Foundation was the resource person for the session. Apte Kaka explained the need of the organ donation with factual data to the students and teachers present for the webinar. He made the audience aware of donation of various organs and the circumstances and conditions under which the donation can be done. He also explained the medical requirements and legal requirements to be fulfilled for the organ donation. Apte Kaka made the session interactive and lively through Power Point presentation and question answer session. He showed and explained the form to be filled by the interested organ donor.
At the end of the session Apte Kaka shared a KAHOOT QUIZ on the topic covered which made the webinar an Awareness Programme in true sense.
