As per the guidelines of state government Department of Foundation Course of the college has organized “Vachan Divas” on the occasion of death anniversary of father of library movement Late P. N. Panicker. In order to enhance the reading ability and make them importance of reading and inculcate reading habit among students this online programme was conducted. This programme was conducted on 19th June, 2021 at 6.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. on Zoom meeting. The Programme was started at sharp 6.30 p.m. with “Saraswati Vandana”. Asst. Prof Tushar Pawar hosted the event with key note address and also elaborated the importance of the day. After the key note address student’s participants were asked to present their article. Five students were participated in the reading activity. They presented their article on the topic of Covid-19 pandemic and on environmental issues. After the reading of articles participants were started discussion on the same topic and discuss on the same issues with positive thoughts. I/c Principal Dr. Eknath Zhrekar appreciated the presentation of students and also thanked them for participation. Teachers also commented on the presentation of students and appreciated them for their efforts and also wished them to participates in many such events. Asst. Professor Tushar Pawar proposed formal vote of thanks to the management, Principal, teachers, student participants and special thanks was given to Mr. Sanjay Singh from DTP section of Mahatma Education Socety’s for beautiful banner. The programme was concluded with National Anthem.
