The NSS volunteers reported to PI Darade of Chembur Police station, Basant Park, Chembur Mumbai on Sunday 4th September, 2022 at 2.00 p.m.. They were asked to wait in the police station and later guided to the Teen Talav pond opposite Acres Club, Chembur, Mumbai. The students guided the vehicle traffic and pedestrians, groups of people carrying Ganesh Idols to the entrance of Teen Talav pond. The area was kept free of traffic jams and the volunteers played their role of assisting the police staff in traffic regulation, very well.

Police force ensured that only small groups of volunteers took to the road to regulate traffic as they wanted to reduce footfall in that area. Many NSS volunteers from different colleges in the vicinity had gathered for traffic regulation duty and the police team did a good job of sending in only the team of volunteers required from time to time. All the 25 volunteers of our college got an opportunity to regulate traffic and assist in the Ganpati Visarjan activity on 3 busy days of Ganpati Visarjan, Sunday 4th September, Tuesday 6th September and Friday 9th September, 2022 from 2.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m..
