| Brief Report of Program | A T.Y.B.Com. student Ms. Priya Vishwakarma enrolled for the Model United Nations event organised by the Government of Maharashtra CASI MAHA MUN on 6th and 7th Deceember, 2019. It was the first time the college was participating in the Model United Nations event. After a glittering opening ceremony the participants were invited to the venue centre which was divided according to the themes of the MUN. It was fascinating to see how students from standard 9, 10, 11, 12 and degree college students all blended in together to recreate the united nations floor. It was simulation of the UN where committees representing different United Nations members participated on several themes such as Environment, Women Empowerment and Leadership, Road Safety, Education, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene etc. The event ended with students passing resolutions on important issues discussed in the MUN. The participants got a first-hand experience of the proceedings of the UN. It was role play and simulation method of learning for all. Schools and colleges from all over Maharashtra had participated in this prestigious event. |
