NSS volunteers, students of the degree college, and students of the Junior college gathered in front of the college building at 3:30 p.m. on 13th August, 2022. The NSS Rally was combined with the Swachch Bharat Abhiyan. The NSS Leaders had carried with them gloves and bin bags to collect dry waste, plastic waste from the streets of Chembur Mumbai.
While at the rally, a group of NSS volunteers engaged in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Groups of students took turns to pick up plastic waste using gloves.
The rally started from Sion Trombay Road, moved into Thakkar Bappa Colony and through Siddharth Colony and back to Chembur Naka.
While walking in the rally the students picked up dry waste from Sion Trombay Road, Thakkar Bappa Colony and Siddharth colony.
The students completed the rally and assembled at the ground floor multipurpose hall. The dry waste collected was disposed of in the college campus dust bin. The Swachch Bharat Abhiyan was successfully conducted.
