The new academic year 2018-19 was inaugurated with the workshop in collaboration with University of Mumbai. Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Mahatma Night Degree College of Arts and Commerce in collaboration with University of Mumbai organised One Day Workshop on “Revised Syllabus of T.Y.B.Com. (Semester – V & VI)” on 7th July, 2018 in the College campus at 9.00 a.m. onwards.

Dr. Lata Krishnan, Head, Department of Commerce of the College welcomed all the resource persons and participants for the One Day Workshop. After welcoming, the function was inaugurated by lighting of the lamp by the Chairman of the Mahatma Education Society, Dr. K. M. Vasudevan Pillai, Principal, Dr. Padma Rangan Chief Guest Dr. Vidyagauri Lele and Guest of Honour Dr. Shanti Suresh. Principal Dr. Padma Rangan addressed the gathering and spelt out the theme of the workshop.
Dr. K. M. V. Pillai sir addressed the gathering. After the introduction of the Chief Guest, Dr. Padma Rangan was requested to felicitate her. Dr. Vidyagauri Lele, Principal, N. G. Acharya and D. K. Marathe College, Chembur talked about the syllabus changing procedure and thanked the entire team contributed to such changes.
Asst. Prof. Anaya Markandeya introduced the Guest of Honour, Dr. Shanti Suresh, Head, Department of Commerce, SIES College, Mumbai. After her felicitation Dr. Shanti Suresh also threw some light on the changes made in the T.Y.B.Com. syllabus.
Principal of the college welcomed all the participants from various colleges and introduced the college and workshop organised.
After formal inaugural ceremony three technical sessions started simultaneously in three different classrooms i.e. Technical Session I for Accountancy Group in class No. 401, Technical Session II for Commerce, Export Marketing and Marketing Research in class No. 404 and Technical Session III for Business Economics in class No. 301. The sessions were really proved fruitful for the teacher participants as it facilitated one to one interaction with the resource person who were the members of Board of Studies of respective Departments.
All the sessions ended by 1.30 p.m. The certificates were distributed at the end of the sessions. All participants and resource persons enjoyed the sumptuous lunch.
