Research and Development committee in association with IQAC of our college has arranged webinar for students on Fundamental Aspects of Research in Commerce. This programme was conducted on 26th March, 2021 at 6.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. on Zoom meeting. Asst. Prof Tushar Pawar convenor of the Webinar was started this programme with key note address and requested to I/C Principal Dr. Eknath Zhrekar to give welcome address. Dr. Zhrekar Welcome our resource person Dr. Swapnesh Ragnekar and student participants. He also highlighted the importance of research in everyday life and why students require to undertake research project.
Dr. Anaya Markandeya has introduced our resource person. Dr. Swapnesh Ragnekar has good experience of research in the area of Environmental Science. His area of interest are Biodiversity and wild life.
Dr. Rangnekar stated his presentation with the definition of research, its objectives and why we need to do the research. He has also explained the student’s what kind of topic one commerce students can take for research and what are the fundamentals of research in commerce stream. Dr. Ragnekar also explained what are the types of research and their method, sampling methods, how to collect data, how to represent the data and how to interpret the data for final result and conclusion. Around 56 participants were present for the session and students really enjoyed and motivated with the webinar.
After the webinar formal vote of thanks was proposed by Assc. Prof. Dr. Lata Krishnan. Dr. Lata Krishnana extend her gratitude to our resource person for conducting such information session for our staff. She also thanks our management and principal for their support and motivation. She also extended her gratitude to organizing committee for organizing such wonderful session. At last, she also thanks to DTP section for making beautiful banner and all the participants for participating in the webinar. The programme was ended with National Anthem.
