Every year Mahatma Night Degree College organizes a Send-off Party for the T.Y.B.Com. students. The college Principal and all the teaching staff always try to make this last celebration of the last year students the most memorable one.
However, the “Send-off Party 2017-18” proved to be the memorable one for the Principal, teachers and non-teaching staff members including peons.
After the ritual of lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana, Principal Dr. Padma Rangan addressed the gathering and wished a good luck for their future journey.
The Party cake was arranged by the students.
After the formal speech and cake cutting, students took over the charge. All the students actively participated in the function. Students shared their wonderful journey in the Mahatma Night Degree College through songs, poems, shayaris and speeches. They shared their experiences with teachers which were really heart touching for both, the teachers and students. All the teachers also shared their experiences with this batch and praised them too.
The real surprise was for the principal and all teaching and non-teaching members. From the contributions they collected from their class, Principal, all teaching and non- teaching staff members were felicitated with Shawl, Shreefal and a sacred sapling of Tulsi as token of love and respect.
They also gifted all teachers with beautiful wrist watches. With this wonderful felicitation the function switched to the actual party mood. All students enjoyed music and dance.
With a sumptuous dinner arranged by the college this great celebration came to an end.
