307 Candidates registered for the job fair
Objective: This job fair aimed at assisting students with job opportunities in diverse sectors such as BFSI Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Accounts, Technical, Non-Technical, Front-End, Back-End etc.
No. of Beneficiary: 307 candidates and 35 companies
The MNDC Placement Mela 2019-20 was inaugurated by MNDC Principal Dr. Padma Rangan at 10.15 a.m. on 1st February, 2020. This mega job fair was the initiative of the MNDC Placement Cell and the CII’s MCC and NSC’s BFSI. We are grateful to Mr. Sunil Yadav of CII’s MCC and Mr. Saumya Ranjan of NSC’s BFSI for their efforts in bringing in companies for the event.
279 candidates registered online, 28 candidates registered offline. A total of 307 candidates registered for the MNDC Placement Mela 2019-20. Of these 252 candidates who gave interviews were shortlisted for jobs and invited for a second round of interviews to the company. 26 candidates were selected on the spot and issued letters of intent. 190 candidates were rejected. 197 candidates showed interest in the jobs offered.
Dr. K. M. Vasudevan Pillai Sir, C.E.O. and Chairman Mahatma Education Society’s Pillai Group of Institutions graced the occasion. Mr. Dayal Kangne, Business Head of CII’s MCC Vikroli Mumbai participated in the event.
