Use of ICT Tools and Techniques for Effective Teaching and Learning

Introduction

Under the banner of Golden Jubilee Year Celebration of Mahatma Education Society, the IQAC of Mahatma Night Degree College of Arts and Commerce organized a series of National Level Webinars during 2nd May 2020 to 6th May 2020. The theme of the series was ‘Stay Home, Stay Safe and Stay Updated’.

Activity

The third webinar conducted under the series was on ‘Use of ICT Tools and Techniques for Effective Teaching and Learning’ on 4th May 2020, Monday between 11.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. The IQAC coordinator Dr. Eknath Zhrekar and Librarian Ms. Parveen Arif were the in charge of the above webinar. Mr. Ramakant Navghare, Librarian, Changu Kana Thakur College, New Panvel was the resource person for the day. As the need of the hour, M. Navghare explained how to become an effective teacher with the limited resources available at home may it be human or technical resources. Mr. Navghare talked about various tools available for teaching learning nd the techniques which can be used under such tools like, Cinema 5, Teamlink, Jisti etc.

To convert the threat of Covid 19 into an opportunity and accept as a challenge it is necessary for the teachers to accept the role of Learners, i.e. Learners of ICT Tools and Techniques for Effective Teaching and Learning’.
