Mahatma Night Degree College of Arts & Commerce conducted a Workshop on Revised Career Advancement Scheme on 28th August, 2019 at Room No 401. The target audience for the workshop was teaching faculties who were due for their respective promotions. The resource person for the workshop was Associate Prof. Dr. Khushpat Jain from Sydenham College of Commerce & Economics. Dr. Eknath Zhrekar was the workshop Convenor and Asst.Prof. Harsh Shukla was program Co-convenor.
The Registration process for the program started at 12.30 pm. After the registration, participants were invited for lunch. The Program Commenced at 2.30 pm. The welcome address was given by Asst. Prof. Harsh Shukla. Dr. Anaya Markandeya introduced the resource person Dr. Khushpat Jain. Subsequently, she requested the Principal Dr. Padma Rangan to felicitate the resource person with floral tribute. Thereafter, Dr. Padma Rangan addressed the participants of the workshop. The technical session was started after the Principal’s address. Dr. Khushpat Jain explained the importance of teachers awareness with changing rules and regulations. He quoted the old and new acts of UGC which deals with Promotion of the faculties. His presentation minutely dealt with each and every aspect of past and present form of Career advancement Schemes. In addition to this, he gave elaborated explanation of the new AAR of seventh pay commission and criteria for promotion of the faculty. The last session was question answer session were all doubts and difficulties of the participants was solved by the resource person. The vote of thanks was given Asst.Prof. Tushar Pawar which is followed by the certificate distribution to the participants.
