Mr. Kadam spoke about disasters and the significance of Safety. He introduced the concept of Civil Defence and explained the need for civilians to train and join Civil Defence to help and participate in Disaster Management. Several disaster management techniques were explained particularly in disasters caused by fire. Students were taught different ways of tying knots in ropes.
The resource person used a power point presentation to explain the concepts and interesting videos were shown. The session was interactive. The question answer session at the end of the workshop allowed for an interesting discussion and clearing of doubts in the minds of students.
A google form was shared to collect feedback from all the participants.
